Mr Dawson and his son have a quiet conversation on the deck of a Moonstone that's all too empty.

I wrote this about a month ago for 100 Fandoms Challenge/Hell and 100 Ships, but am bringing it back for the third prompt of sunshine_challenge which is Moonstone, because Peter and his father are talking about their ship the Moonstone and also I'm still writing things for the first two prompts, so I'm letting myself have this one a bit easier.

I don’t know the fandom but this is a great use of the prompt! And hey, sometimes easier is good, the one I am nearly done with is something I was working on anyway but then thought of a way to incorporate the moon.

Definitely - I always prefer to create fic over anything else, but in this case it was really a 'oh man the Moonstone would be a good fic for this if I hadn't written one and I don't really want to write another when I have so many other fics and ideas on the go... wait a minute no one said they had to be new, I can just link that fic can't I.'

Love that you had a fic already to fit this! No need to burn out trying to create on a schedule, especially for this laid back group. ♥ I'd hoped to create this year for my responses, but my brain said NO, so I have had to give myself permission to make things easier on myself as well (though on a much larger scale if you've already got two things in progress right now!).

Indeed! I am hoping to write something for all the prompts bar this one, but I have also about 15 fics in progress at any one time all slowly getting written, which are mostly half finished oneshots but a few are chapter fics that sometimes get updated on AO3 every six months and people comment and I'm like 'I'm coming back to this one, I just really like oneshots!' so yeah, twas nice to fill one of these with something already written!
